Our corporate history dates back to 1909 when Ambrogio Cagliari, after a long stay in Brazil and on the strength of various commendations for its acclaimed coffee blends, opened his first workshop in Modena for the roasting and tasting of coffee.
Now, over 100 years later Caffè Cagliari is still proud to be a family-run business, at present headed by the fourth generation with the same great passion for coffee.
An Age Old Roasting Process
Caffè Cagliari is one of the few coffee roasters that still produces according to the traditional separate roasting method. This is because each single origin coffee has different organoleptic properties which require different temperatures and cooking times to safeguard the quality of each grain.
